RB Leipzig made an excellent run in their maiden season in the Bundesliga last year, as they finished at the 2nd spot. They are competing in the Champions League this season, but that hasn’t affected their performance in the Bundesliga, as they are yet again sitting at the 2nd spot. They are now up against a hard task when they will be hosted by Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, November 18th.
Bayern Leverkusen (4-3-4) managed to turn their season around, and entered the international break having not lost any of their last 7 matches in all competitions. In their most recent match they played for a 1-1 draw on the road against Augsburg, that came at the back of 3 consecutive wins in all competitions. Despite their pretty good recent run, Bayer Leverkusen only kept a couple of clean sheets in that span. They are now sitting at the 9th spot of the Bundesliga with 16 points after 11 matches, having scored 23 goals, against 16 conceded. They have yet to suffer a single loss at home so far in the season (3-0-2), but have kept just a couple of clean sheets in their 6 home matches in all competitions.

RB Leipzig (7-3-1) were excellent last season in their maiden presence in the Bundesliga, as they finished at the 2nd spot, and grabbed a ticket to their also maiden presence in the Champions League. This season they have done a similar job in the Bundesliga, as they are sitting at the 2nd spot once again, with 22 points after 11 matches, just 4 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich. Moreover, RB Leipzig are participating in the Group G of the Champions League this season, along with Besiktas, Porto and Monaco. They are currently sitting at the 3rd spot with 4 points after 4 matches (1-2-1), still retaining some qualifying chances for next round of either the Champions League, or the Europe League. In their last match before the break, RB Leipzig came from one goal behind to eventually defeat Hannover by 2-1 at home. However, that was their first win after a 3 match win-less streak.
