Burnley (9-7-7) failed to take advantage of the fact that Crystal Palace’s numerous injuries, as they fell by a slim 0-1 on the road last week. Their opponents were really active on the offensive end, and took the lead at the 21st minute with Sako. Burnley were really bad in the first half, but were much more active in the second. Even so, they were unable to take anything positive from that match, as they met their third consecutive loss in all competitions. Moreover, they are now win-less in their last seven matches in all competitions, with their last win dating back to December 12th against Stoke City. Despite their bad run lately, Burnley are still clinging to the 7th spot of the Premier League with 34 points, five points behind Arsenal. They have been so and so at home so far (5-4-2), where they might have been great against other teams, but they have lost to all teams from the top-6.

That was their third consecutive win in all competitions, and they are now undefeated in their last six (3-0-3). Moreover, they have kept clean sheets in each of their previous four. Manchester United are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Premier League with 50 points, three points ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea, but already twelve points behind league leaders Manchester City. They also have the best defense with just 16 conceded, and the third best offense with 48 goals so far.
