Belgium have totally dominated Group H so far, with 3 wins and 13 goals so far, and they will most likely top the Group that leads to the 2018 World Cup. They will now be hosting Estonia, who have just 1 win in the Group and it looks like Belgium will add one more win to their perfect record.
Belgium played for a 1-1 draw in a friendly match against the Netherlands in their most recent match, but before that, they had all 3 Qualifying matches. Coach Martinez tried some new tactics and formations in that match, but it was not quite a successful experiment. The Dutch were much better in the pitch, and they even took the lead at the 38th minute by a penalty kick. However, deploying Lukaku at the 65th minute did wonders for Belgium, as they were able to create numerous chances and finally equalize at the 82nd minute. When it comes to Group H, Belgium have won all 3 matches against Cyprus, Bosnia and Gibraltar, having scored 13 goals in the process against none conceded. Belgium will most likely top this Qualifying Group, and a win over Estonia is the only logical outcome here. However, they will have several injury concerns, as 3 of their best defenders are missing (Alderweireld, Vermaelen and Kompany), while midfielder Dembele is also unavailable.
On the other hand, Estonia (1-2-0) were easily defeated by Greece in their previous round, as the match finished with 2-0 in favor of the Greeks. Estonia were unable to react to Greece’s early goal at just the 2nd minute, while the Greeks doubled their lead at the 60th minute. Estonia were unable to get one past the opposing keeper, who was in a very good day with lots of saves. The Estonians look unable to challenge and of the two top spots that grant qualification, and once again they will just try to play spoiler in this phase. They haven’t managed to reach the Final Stage of a World Cup in their history (since 1994 that they have been participated as a sovereign country). They are a weak team overall, and they haven’t even scored in any of their last 7 road matches (0-6-1), having also faced minnows San Marino in that span.
