Florida State has already dropped two games in conference play this season with a 63-20 loss to Louisville as a slight one-point road favorite early in the year followed by a tight 37-35 loss to North Carolina on Oct. 1 as a 10.5-point favorite at home. The Seminoles are 5-2 SU overall with a 3-4 record ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in their last three games. They have now failed to cover in four of their last five games played at home.
To get back on track with a win in this game, Florida State is going to need a big effort from running back Dalvin Cook, who is still receiving some outside consideration for this year’s Heisman. He has rushed the ball 159 times this season for 900 yards and seven touchdowns. Freshman quarterback Deondre Francois has completed 62.4 percent of his 221 passing attempts for 1,876 yards and 10 touchdowns. The one big concern for the Seminoles is a defense that has struggled with consistency this season, especially in conference play.
