Inter Milan have been suffering for quite a while now, as they have won just a single match since early December. They were having a pretty solid season prior to that, so they should be able to bounce back at some point. They now have a great chance to do so, when they will play host to minnows Benevento on Saturday. Benevento might be coming off a win, but that was their first after four consecutive losses. Moreover, they are by far the worst team on the road so far in the season.

Inter Milan (13-3-9) are coming into this match after a really frustrating 0-2 loss on the road against Genoa. They were actually better overall, but in a dull first half, they managed to score an own goal and gave away the lead. As they were trying to pull even at the second half, their opponents scored one more goal at the 59th minute, and Inter Milan were unable to recover. That might be their first loss since December 23rd, but since then they had six consecutive draws, followed by a 1-2 win over Bologna. That being said, Inter Milan have now won just one of their last twelve matches in all competitions (1-3-8). They are now sitting at the 5th spot of the Serie A with 48 points, just one behind Lazio, and two behind Roma. They have been really good at home so far (8-1-4), but have won just one of their last six in all competitions (1-1-4). They will be coming here with a couple of injury concerns to key players, as Icardi, Miranda and Perisic are still being listed as questionable to participate.

On the other hand, Benevento (3-21-1) are by far the weakest team in the Serie A this season, as they have been stuck at the bottom of the league table for quite a while. However, they are actually coming off a win in their previous match, where they had to take the lead twice against Crotone, to eventually defeat them by 2-3 at home. However, that was their first win after four successive losses, and was just their third in the season. They have only gathered 10 points so far in the league, as they are now sitting a whopping 11 points below the relegation zone, and they will most likely not stay in the league after the season is over. They are also the only team to have lost all their road matches so far in the Serie A (0-12-0), having scored just 5 goals in the process, against 30 conceded. Moreover, they have conceded multiple goals on nine occasions on the road, and have lost six matches by more than two goals.
