It is now time for some World Cup Qualifiers matches that take place this coming weekend, and there are a lot of opportunities to be taken advantage of here. Estonia have been very weak in the qualifiers so far, and that probably won’t change when they play host to the amazing Belgium on Saturday. Belgium have without a doubt the best bunch of players they have ever had in their history, and as a result, they are sitting at the top spot of Group H.
Belgium (4-0-1) have one of the best and most complete rosters in the competitions, as there are several key players in each position. Most players compete in top tier European leagues, and they are truly a sight to behold in all their matches. They have been one of the most dominant teams in the qualifiers so far, as they have already scored 22 goals against just 2 conceded. They started off with 4 wins before the feisty Greeks held them to a 1-1 draw at home in their last match. Greece were actually pretty good in that match, as they had the lead for most of the second half but Belgium pulled even at the final minutes. Prior to that, Belgium had destroyed all other teams that got in their path, and they should be able to capture the top spot one way or another. They have only played a couple of road matches so far in this round, and both were domiant wins against Cyprus (3-0) and Gibraltar (6-0).
Estonia (1-3-1) haven’t have many bright spots in the qualifiers so far, with their best performance being a 0-4 win against Gibraltar at home. However, they had started off with a tough 0-5 defeat against Bosnia & Herzegovina on the road, and after their win against Gibraltar they fell to Greece by 2-0 at home and suffered one of their heaviest defeats ever, when they were demolished by Belgium on the road by a whopping 1-8. In their most recent qualifier they held Cyprus to a goal-less draw on the road, and after all that, they are sitting at the penultimate spot of Group H with just 4 points. They don’t have any valid chances to challenge one of the two top spots, so they will try to be as decent as they can in the 5 remaining matches. Despite their overall struggles in the qualifiers so far, they are undefeated in their last 4 matches in all competitions (2-0-2). However, 3 of those matches were friendlies, where they played for a goal-less draw against Saint Kitts & Nevis, and defeated Antigua & Barbuda by 1-0 on the road, before a very convincing 0-3 win against Croatia in their most recent match.
