Hull City are the surprise package of the season, andthey are coming off a very good showing in their 1-1 draw against Burnley. They will be hosting Arsenal, who are coming off a 1-1 draw against PSG mid-week for the Champions League, while they also recorded their first league win last week against Southampton.
Hull City (2-1-1) had a very good presence in the field on their road match against Burnley. Even though they had control of the match, they were left chasing the score at the 72nd minute. However, they didn’t panic, they played smart and they managed to pull even after Snodgrass scored a direct foul kick. Hull City are by far the most pleasant surprise so far in the season, they have scored in 3 out of their 4 matches so far, while they have only lost to Manchester United, in a match where they conceded at the final 2 minutes.
On the other hand, Arsenal traveled to Paris mid-week, in order to clash with Paris Saint Germaine. Arenal’s goalkeeper Ospina was their guardian angel, as he saved his team from conceding on numerous occasions. Arsenal managed to take a valuable 1-1 draw, which will be paired nicely with their first league win last week, against Southampton. However, Arsenal have yet to find their rhythm, and the main reason is their shaky defense who has conceded in 4 out of their 5 matches so far in the season. Ramsey and Walcott might make their debut, while Gabriel, Mertesacker and Welbeck are still injured.
