They have won seven of eight home games (SU and ATS), and they have covered in nine of 12 games closing as favorites.

The Bears’ defense has been the main reason for this sudden rise from worst to first in the NFC North. Credit second-year quarterback Mitch Trubisky for stepping up his game in the starting role, but things get a bit easier to manage when the other side of the ball is only giving up an average of 17.7 points per game.
