In their loss against the Brownies, the Jets blew a 14-point lead failing to cover as a 3.5-point pup on the road in Cleveland.

The Jaguars suffered their first defeat of the 2018 season when they were edged out by divisional rival Tennessee in a real defensive struggle. No offensive touchdowns were scored in the game, as the Titans would defeat the Jags by a score of 9-6 in a game decided by field goals. Previous to this, the Jaguars defeated the New York Giants and then the defending AFC Champion New England Patriots in back-to-back outings.

The Jaguars have relied heavily on their defense to get the job done in their first two victories this season. Their offense, however, has looked quite inconsistent. While this may not seem like much of a concern against a team like New York with a rookie quarterback, the Jets have a solid backfield of runners (Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell) to keep Jacksonville’s defense on the field. New York’s defense is a turnover generator, and this does not fare well for the Jags as they have only created one turnover in their own right, this season.
