New York rides four-game winning streaks both SU and ATS into Sunday following a 23-17 victory at Jacksonville last week. The Giants drove the opening possession of the game 75 yards to a touchdown and led 13-11 at the half. New York later trailed 17-13 midway through the fourth quarter but scored 10 quick points to re-take the lead. At the end, on the final play of the game, the Giants defense stopped a Jaguars receiver on the New York 1-yard line as time ran out.
With the win the Giants also cashed in as +140 dogs on the NFL betting money line.
New York got out-gained by Jacksonville 452-436 but out-rushed the Jags 236-142 and won time of possession by a 34:26 split. The Giants also got awfully lucky on a play that probably decided the game, a Jacksonville fumble-touchback in the third quarter that resulted in at least a 10-point turnaround.
New York has been out-gained by four of its last six opponents but it’s also out-rushed three of its last four foes.
Two weeks ago the Giants rallied from a 20-10 fourth-quarter deficit to beat Baltimore 24-20. And three weeks ago they rallied from a 20-10 halftime deficit to beat Green Bay 27-22. So that’s three weeks in a row New York has come from behind in the second half to win. Which is fun to watch, but dangerous.
At 6-1 overall the Giants are already only two wins away from playing over their season wins over/under, which was 7.5.
Seattle, meanwhile, is 3-1 both SU and ATS its last four times out after winning at the Chargers last Sunday 37-23. The Seahawks, playing as six-point underdogs, turned two early take-aways into touchdowns, scored the first 17 points of the game and led 24-14 at the half. Seattle then scored the first three points of the second half and led by double-digits the rest of the way, on its way to the “upset” victory.
The Seahawks also cashed in at +190 on the money line.
Seattle out-gained the Chargers 404-329, out-rushed San Diego 213-53 and won time of possession by a 34:26 split.
The Seahawks have now out-gained three of their last five opponents but they’ve also been out-rushed by five of their seven foes this season, mainly thanks to some poor run defense.
Two weeks ago Seattle beat Arizona 19-9. Three weeks ago the Seahawks lost at New Orleans 39-32. And four weeks ago they won at Detroit 48-45.
At 4-3 overall Seattle is already only two wins away from playing over its season wins O/U of 5.5.

Seattle beat New York four times in a row from 2011 through 2017 but most recently, two seasons ago, the Giants beat the Seahawks in Seattle 17-12. Colt McCoy quarterbacked New York that day against Russell Wilson for Seattle. Neither of those guys will play a part in this game.
