The New York Giants invade the City of Brotherly Love this Thursday night to renew a long-standing NFC East rivalry against the Philadelphia Eagles. Game time for this division clash is set for 8:25 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally on NBC.

The Giants took a big step in the right direction towards making a return to the playoffs for the first time since 2011 with this past Sunday’s 17-6 victory at home against Detroit as four-point favorites. Philadelphia’s current losing streak reached five games SU with Sunday’s 27-26 loss to Baltimore as a five-point underdog on the road. It was the first time the Eagles covered ATS during this five-game slide. The total went OVER 41 points against the Ravens and it has gone OVER in their last three games. They are now 5-9 SU with a 6-8 record ATS. Philadelphia returns to Lincoln Financial Field with a 4-2 record ATS in its first six games at home this year.
Give first year head coach Doug Pederson credit for trying to get a much needed victory in Sunday’s game with a gutsy two-point conversion attempt with just seconds left to play, but his team has clearly forgotten how to win games since its promising 4-2 start. The Eagles’ offense under the direction of rookie quarterback Carson Wentz has sunk to 24th in the NFL in passing and 19th in overall yards per game (340.4). This unit has averaged just 18 points during this five-game slide. Defensively, Philadelphia is 12th in the league in both yards (344.2) and points (21.4) allowed.
