The Green Bay Packers are traveling to LA Memorial Coliseum to take on the Los Angeles Rams in a highly anticipated Week 8 NFL matchup. The Packers will have their hands full as the Rams are the only remaining undefeated team in the league, sitting atop the NFC West with a 7-0 record.
The Rams are fresh off a 39-10 victory against the San Francisco 49ers and now put that week behind them and prepare for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Green Bay is currently second in the NFC North with a 3-2-1 record, only trailing the 4-2-1 Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay is coming off a much-needed bye week in order to get their receiving core an extra week’s rest and prepare for the Rams.
Rams Favorites at Home
The Rams are favored at home as expected -9. If there were a quarterback to march in and take down an undefeated NFL team, the quarterback at the top of everybody’s list would be Aaron Rodgers. The future Hall of Fame quarterback is completing 61% of his passes for 1,997 yards with a 12:1 TD to INT ratio.
The last time we saw the Packers was in a Week 6 showdown against the 49ers where Packers kicker Mason Crosby hit a field goal as time expired, leading them to a 33-30 victory over San Francisco. The Packers have yet to win on the road this season sitting at 0-2 with losses to the Redskins and Lions.

The all-time series between these two teams are currently tied 46-46-2. The Packers are winners of six of their last seven matchups against the Rams. The last time these two faced off was back in 2015 when the Packers won at Lambeau Field 24-10.
There couldn’t be a more different NFL team from 2015 to now, however, as Rams head coach Sean McVay has helped completely revamp this team. The Rams went 7-9 in 2015 and eventually hired McVay back in 2017, helping lead them to an 18-6 record since taking over.

The defense also ranks as one of the league’s best, Aaron Donald is coming off a massive 4 sack performance against the 49ers, putting him solely in first place in the NFL with 8 sacks. The team was without Cooper Kupp in Week 7 with a knee injury, and while the Rams haven’t ruled him out for Week 8, it is likely he ends up missing multiple games.
