The Chiefs were the toast of the town through the first five weeks of the season at 5-0 both SU and ATS, but suddenly there are some cracks in the foundation on both sides of the ball in recent losses to Pittsburgh at home and Oakland on the road both SU and ATS. The total went OVER 46.5 points in last Sunday’s 31-30 loss to the Raiders as three-point favorites and it has gone OVER in five of their first seven games.
Kansas City’s running game behind rookie Kareem Hunt was one of the big reasons why it got off to such a fast start and it also one of the big reasons why this team has lost its last two outings. The Chiefs only gained 28 yards on the ground in the loss to the Steelers and while Hunt rebounded a bit with 87 rushing yards against Oakland, the offense still fell way short of its 129-yard rushing average on the year.
