2024-25 Super Bowl Odds
The Kansas City Chiefs are chasing NFL history this season as they aim to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls. The Chiefs have already secured three Lombardi Trophies over the last five seasons. Now, KC seeks to accomplish what eight other teams have fallen short of: winning that third consecutive Super Bowl title.
A case could be made that the Chiefs were not the best team in the League last season. Five teams posted better records than Kansas City, which entered the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the AFC. However, the Chiefs iced out Miami in a wild-card game, then beat the Bills in Buffalo and the favored Ravens in Baltimore to win the AFC. KC then outlasted San Francisco in a classic Super Bowl.
Heading into this season, with most of its key personnel returning, Kansas City is catching +600 on FanDuel’s Super Bowl LIX betting board.
However, the Chiefs are not the favorites to win it all this season; the 49ers sit atop most Super Bowl boards, including Bet365’s at +550. San Francisco won the NFC for the second time in the last five seasons last year but fell again to Kansas City in the Super Bowl, once more surrendering a 4th-quarter lead.
The Baltimore Ravens were actually the best team during the regular season last year, winning 13 games and dominating both good and bad opponents. They earned the top seed in the AFC but choked away that advantage with another dismal playoff performance at home.
Over the offseason, Baltimore added RB Derrick Henry, who at 30 years old may or may not be the answer. FanDuel lists the Ravens as the third choice on its Super Bowl board at +950.
Next Tier of Super Bowl Favorites
The next tier on most Super Bowl boards includes the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, and Detroit Lions, all listed at +1300 on FanDuel. Cincinnati hopes for a fully healthy season from QB Joe Burrow; Detroit aims to take the next step after nearly winning the NFC last season, while Buffalo moves forward after trading away one of the top offensive weapons in the league.
Following them, we have the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, and Houston Texans, all listed at +1600 on Bet365. The Eagles are looking to rebound from a poor finish last season, the Cowboys are coming off another disappointing playoff exit, and the Texans surprised many with their strong play last season.
Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers, who appear to have found their next franchise QB, are getting +1900 on FanDuel.
