TCU raveled to Kansas State and came up on short in a 73-68 loss. The five-point losing margin had them falling short of the +2 spread for their third point spread loss in their last five contests. The 141 points put up by both clubs fell UNDER the 148-point closing total line. Vladimir Brodziansky was the high scorer for the Horned Frogs with 15 points on 5/12 shooting and was one of only three players for the team that scored in double figures. TCU was outscored by eight points in the first half and rallied in the second coming within two in final seconds before KSU picked up the last three points. TCU has lost four of their last five games, but in all fairness, they were battling to the final buzzer in all four games. In Big 12 play the Horned Frogs are 2-5 straight up and 3-4 against the spread. They’re just 1-2 SU and ATS at home in those games, but the loses were by four to Kansas and by one to Oklahoma.
