Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics Overview
Milwaukee Bucks
Game Two was all Milwaukee as the Deer found themselves ahead by as much as 31 points. The combination of Point Guard Eric Bledsoe, Shooting Guard Khris Middleton, and all-pro Forward Giannis Antetokuonmpo spearheaded the charge as they combined for 78 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists collectively.
Boston Celtics
After throwing their weight around in Game One against the most productive rebounding team in the NBA, Boston found itself subject to the rule of the Bucks on the glass in Game Two. Business resumed as usual for Milwaukee as they bullied Boston on the boards outrebounding the Celtics by a margin of 53-45. The physical play of the Bucks against their opponents also lead to a significant edge in fast break points for Milwaukee as they scored 23 points to Boston’s 11.
Reasons To Avoid Milwaukee
In the series at large, the Bucks remain the favorite to win, and the Celtics have been priced more or less at +180 to advance. Despite the market position of the series overall combined with the result of Game Two, the Celtics are still favored here which resonates strongly with me. This position clearly directs me to keep my money away from the Bucks.
Reasons To Back Boston
At home on the season, the Celtics on average outscore their opponents by a margin of 6.9 points. This is another reason to back Boston on their own court as we are being asked to lay less than a third of that at the present asking price. This is especially valuable considering the Celtics lost just one game in the playoffs at home throughout the last two seasons. That one game was Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Finals against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Boston is rightfully the favorite here.
