The Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets are gearing up for the third meeting between the two in this series. The Warriors hold a 2-0 series lead and are looking to extend it to take a huge lead that would be insurmountable. The Rockets are looking to take a few games now that the series shifts to Houston. The Warriors have been in full control so far this series as they won both games at home by four and six points, respectively. Now that the series shifts back to Houston, the Rockets can become a bit more comfortable. Usually, in game three there isn’t such a thing as a must-win, but this game certainly feels like it is a must win. The Rockets are favored by 3.5 points in this one. The over/under is set at 221.5 points.
Warriors Try For 3-0 Lead
The Warriors have a ton of talent on their roster among Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant among others. Durant has been playing out of his mind during this series so far. Through the first two games of the series, Durant has averaged 32.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 41.7 percent from beyond the arc. He has simply been great this series and has been the key catalyst for the Warriors during this series. Even though the Warriors are up by two games, they are really hoping that they take game three. A 3-0 lead would be great to have. But a 2-1 lead would give the Rockets hope at home.
Rockets Look to Grab a Win
Being down 2-0 is not what the Rockets had in mind coming into this series with the Warriors. The series is heading to Houston for two games, and the Rockets are hoping to grab both games. James Harden is the key player for the Rockets, and in their last match, he suffered injuries to both eyes. No long-term damage was done, and while his vision is blurry, he is gearing up to play in game three. Doctors have said that he should be good to go for the upcoming few games. Without Harden on the floor, the Rockets have really struggled with gathering their offense, and they are looking to keep him as healthy as they can going into the rest of this series. To win the next few games, Harden is going to have to be on the top of his game.
