Monday’s Starting Arms
Greinke, by our strict standards, is 12/16 on quality starts this season and two for his last three. Last Wednesday he got knocked around for five runs and 11 hits through seven innings of a 6-4 Arizona loss to the Rockies. But over his two starts previous to that he allowed zero runs and six hits through 13 1/3 innings.
The Diamondbacks are 10-6 with Greinke this season, 3-1 over his last four starts.
Over his last five starts against the Dodgers, four last year and a bad one back in March of this season, Greinke gave up 16 runs and 30 hits, including eight homers, through 39 1/3 innings. Arizona won three of those five games.
