Braves vs. Twins Set-Up
Minnesota grabbed the opener of this series Monday night 5-3 on Miguel Sano’s pinch-hit, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Twins led Monday 3-1 through six innings, let Atlanta tie it with two runs in the top of the seventh, then won it off the Braves bullpen.

Last Wednesday he held Miami scoreless on two hits, with 11 strikeouts, through seven innings of a 7-4 Twins win. And over his last three starts, he’s allowed just two earned runs and 13 hits through 19 2/3 innings, with 23 whiffs.
Minnesota is 14-8 with Berrios this season, 2-0 over his last two starts.
This start will be Berrios’ first-ever against Atlanta.
Foltynewicz is making his first start with the Big Club following a six-week stint in the Minors. He’s 3/11 on quality starts for the Braves this year and was one for his final five before his demotion. He then went 5-1 with a 3.86 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP through 10 starts and 51 innings down at Triple-A Gwinnett.
Atlanta is 4-7 with Foltynewicz this season.
Foltynewicz started twice against the Twins back in 2016, allowing eight ER through 10 1/3 innings. The Braves split those two games.
